If you're new to the blogging world, here's how it works. We post, and you read. Simple enough? It's kind of like an online diary, but there's no tiny lock and there's no hiding anything under our mattress (that spot's for our retirement funds). Unlike a diary, however, you read a blog from the bottom up. So the most recent posts will be on the top, and the older posts get shoved to the bottom.
Occasionally, we may post an entry that's designated "friends only". No, there's nothing raunchy in those posts... we probably are just revealing something that we don't want the whole world to know. If we're talking about going on a two-week vacation, we certainly won't mention the dates our house will be vacant with the entire Google-savvy universe! So if you want to be on the "friends" list, you just need to sign up for a free LiveJournal account. (No, you don't need to actually post anything to your account!)
If you're a total geek and understand RSS feeds, you can add our blog to your My Yahoo! homepage or wherever one gets their RSS feeds.
Well, that's all for now. Thanks for your focused attention!
